Creating
I have worked on a wide range of projects, from designing a tiny house to developing a hotel. I enjoy turning an initial idea into a design that actually works, while finding the right balance between creativity and practicality. Working on these projects has also shown me how much stronger a design can become when different ideas and perspectives come together.
Utrecht
I have lived in the province of Utrecht my whole life and now live in the city of Utrecht itself. Growing up surrounded by both historic buildings and modern developments has shaped my interest in architecture. For me, good architecture is not only about how a building looks, but also about how it fits into its surroundings and how people experience and use the space.
Nature
I believe nature should be part of architecture, not just surround it. Greenery makes spaces more inviting and connected to their surroundings. As cities become denser, architecture should create space for nature. For me, the best designs bring buildings and nature together.
Plot Twist
When I’m not working on buildings or staring at Archicad, there’s a good chance I’m reading or watching a rom-com. Apparently I like a good storyline just as much as a good floor plan.
